Dear International Students,
Winter vacation will be from January 22, 2018 (Monday) to March 4, 2018(Sunday). Courses will begin from March 5, 2018. Please make arrangements in advance and return for study on time and register at the office 209 for the new semester within the first week of new semester. The student who cannot come back on time without sound reasons would be punished according to university regulations.Relevant safety matters of winter vacation are notified as follows
1.All students are required to make registration in the office 209. You should register with your personal travelling arrangements so that the university is able to provide necessary help and support.
2.Students who will stay on campus, please be prepared for charging electricity for your rooms in advance and pay attention to the updated notices regarding opening time of the classroom, library, dining hall, electricity center and shopping centers, etc to arrange your study and vacation properly.
3.Students who plan to go home or take a tour outside Wuhan during the vacation, please be sure to close your doors, windows, and leave your water and electricity turned off. Meanwhile, please be sure to carry your emergency contact information card with you, in case of any unexpected emergency. The relevant authorities will be able to reach the university when any emergency happens.
4.Students who need to apply for extension of residence permit, please come to the International Student Office 215 before 17:00 on January 25th.The office will not process any application for extension during the vacation.
5.The International Students’ Affairs Office will be closed from January 26th to February 28th.Please contact the College working-staff on dutyfor the emergency situation .The on duty working stuff information is presented at the reception

全体国际学生:
在校学生假期从2018年1月22日(星期一)开始,3月4日(星期日)返校,3月5日(星期一)正式上课。请大家提前做好日程安排,及时返校,并在开学一周内到209办公室完成新学期报到注册,逾期无理由不报到者按校纪校规处理。
现将假期期间安全注意事项通知如下:
一、离校前,请同学们于1月22日17:00前到209办公室登记寒假期间的去向,以便于学校为同学们提供相应的帮助和支持。
二、寒假留校的同学,一定要提前做好公寓房间充电准备,同时注意学校关于教室、图书馆、餐厅、水电中心和超市等服务设施开放时间的通知,合理安排自己的学习和生活,注意假期间的用电用水和消防安全以及人身财产安全。
三、假期回国或外出旅游的同学,请务必关好门窗和水电,同时携带个人紧急信息联系卡片,以便突发事件发生后有关机构能第一时间联系到学校或其紧急联系人。
四、需要办理居留许可延期的同学,请务必于1月26日17:00前到国际学生办公室办理,假期期间办公室不受理居留许可延长事宜。
五、1月26日至2月28日期间,国际学生办公室停止服务。如有紧急情况,请联系国际教育学院值班室。
