中国地质大学是教育部直属全国重点大学，是国家批准设立研究生院的大学，是国家“211工程”、985“优势学科创新平台”项目建设的大学；中国地质大学（武汉）位于武汉东湖之畔，南望山麓。学校以地球科学为主要特色，拥有地质学、地质资源与地质工程2个国家一级重点学科，学科涵盖理学、工学、文学、管理学、经济学、法学、教育学、艺术学、哲学等门类。学校全日制在校学生 26103人，包括本科生 18140人，硕士研究生 6312人，博士研究生1651人，国际学生944人(相关数据截至2018年10月)。

China University of Geosciences (CUG) is a key national university affiliated with the Ministry of Education as a state authorized graduate school. It is a member of the “Project 211” group and a key university of “Project 985: Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform”. Located along the shore of East Lake and seated at the foot of Mount Nan Wang, CUG offers world-class specialization in geosciences with, featuring two national primary key disciplines: Geology and Geological Resources and Geological Engineering. These fields incorporate diverse categories such as Natural Science, Engineering, Literature, Management, Economics, Law, Pedagogy, Art and Philosophy etc. At present, its registered full-time students total 26103, including 18140 undergraduates, 6312 master students, 1651 doctoral students and 944 international students.(Data summarized on June, 2018 )

学校拥有13个博士后科研流动站，13个一级学科博士点和34个一级学科硕士点，其中国家重点一级学科2个，省部级重点一级学科16个；有10种专业学位授予权，其中工程硕士专业包涵14个工程领域。

CUG has established 13 centers for post-doctorate studies, 13 first-class doctoral discipline areas and 34 first-class master’s discipline areas, covering 2 national level key disciplines and 16 provincial level key disciplines. CUG offers 10 professional degrees of diverse scope, such as Master of Engineering (ME) with 14 engineering fields.

2019年国际学生研究生招生覆盖9大学科门类；同时可在环境科学与工程硕士、石油与天然气工程硕士、工商管理硕士、公共管理硕士、材料科学与工程硕士5个类别招收全英文专业硕士研究生。

一、 项目介绍

I. Program Introduction.

凡年龄在35周岁以下，具有相当于中国大学本科毕业文凭或同等学历，持外国护照的非中国籍公民均可申请攻读中国地质大学（武汉）硕士研究生专业。

All healthy non-Chinese citizen under 35 years old with a valid passport and a degree equivalent to a Chinese bachelor’s degree can apply for a master’s degree in China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

二、学习形式及学制

II. The Form and System of Learning

国际学生硕士研究生均实行全日制3年学制。

International graduate students undergo a 3-year full-time academic program.

中文授课专业需在完成1年汉语预科学习后，通过HSK4级方可进入专业学院学习。

Majors taught in Chinese language have a prerequisite of one year of Chinese preparatory study and must also pass HSK level 4.

三、收费及奖学金

III. Tuition and Scholarships

（一）中国政府奖学金

i. Chinese Government Scholarship

中国地质大学（武汉）是教育部指定的中国政府奖学金生接受高校，具有自主招收中国政府奖学金生的资格。我校常年开展的中国政府奖学金项目包括高校研究生项目、丝路奖学金项目和国别双边项目等。

China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) is designated by the Ministry of Education to grant qualified candidate students Chinese Government Scholarships. Over the years, CUG has carried out many Chinese Government Scholarship programs such as University Graduate Programs, Silk Road Scholarship Programs and Bilateral Programs.

1．高校研究生奖学金项目：提供全额奖学金（含学费、生活补贴3000元/人月、校内住宿及综合医疗保险）。国际学生新生录取时根据奖学金申请材料评审结果，报CSC批复后确定。学习期间CSC每年根据中国政府奖学金生学习成绩、科研表现情况等对奖学金学生进行年度评审。

1．University Graduate Scholarship Program: full scholarship (including tuition, living allowance of 3,000RMB/month, on campus accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance). International students must complete a Chinese Government Scholarship application which is assessed by CSC for approval upon admission. CSC also conducts an annual assessment of Chinese Government Scholarship students’ academic records and research performance to evaluate continued eligibility.

2．国别双边奖学金项目：国别双边奖学金项目包含所有层次的培养项目，通常由国际学生所在国家的中国使馆或教育部门推荐产生。奖学金资助金额包括全额奖学金和部分奖学金两类。

2．Bilateral Scholarship Programs: The Bilateral Scholarship program includes all levels of educational programs available. It is usually recommended by the Chinese Embassy or the Educational Department in the international student’s home country. The scholarship grants include full scholarships and partial scholarships.

3．中国地质大学（武汉）校长奖学金：学校设有“一带一路”菁英研究生专项奖学金，用于奖励在社会活动和科技成果方面有突出成绩的国际学生攻读我校自费硕士研究生。奖学金资助额度免除第一年的学费或住宿费。

3. CUG (Wuhan) Presidential Scholarship: The University provides "Belt and Road" special scholarships for elite graduate students to reward those international students who make outstanding contributions to society and scientific progress. This award is confered to graduate students who are self-funded. Scholarship awardees are exempted from tuition or accommodation fees for the first year.

（二）学费标准

ii. Tuition Standards

硕士生：理工科各专业学费为28000元/人.年；文科各专业25000元/人.年。

所有收费以物价部门最新批复为准，我校将及时公布有关收费信息。

Master student: Science or Engineering students: 28,000RMB/year

Liberal arts students: 25,000RMB/year

All charges are subject to the updates of the Price Department. CUG will release information about any changes in tuition in a timely manner.

四、报考条件

IV. Application Requirements

（一）申请攻读中国政府奖学金硕士研究生，须符合以下条件：

1．持有有效护照的非中华人民共和国公民。

2．遵守中国有关法律和学校的规章制度，品德良好，尊重中国人民风俗习惯。

3．申请者学业水平必须符合下列条件之一：

（1）国家承认学历的应届本科毕业生（提供在读证明），录取当年9月1日前须取得国家承认的本科毕业证书。

（2）具有国家承认的相应的或相当的本科学位。

（3）已获本科学位的人员。

i. The following conditions must be met to apply for a master’s degree under the Chinese government scholarship program:

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports

2. Applicants must abide by Chinese laws and Regnlations, be of good character and respect Chinese social customs and habits.

3. Applicants must meet one of the following academic conditions:

· Recent graduates admitted by the state are required to provide nationally recognized degree certificates (studying certificates) before September 1st of the admission year.

· A corresponding or equivalent undergraduate degree recognized by the state

· Applicant has received a bachelor’s degree.

4．身心健康，无严重疾病、传染病及严重身体缺陷，符合国家录取规定的体检要求。

4. Applicant is physically and mentally healthy, has no serious diseases, infectious diseases or serious physical defects. Applicant must pass the required national admission medical examination.

5. 申请中文授课项目要求提供HSK证书复印件(2年有效期内)或其他同等汉语水平证明材料，并要求HSK4级成绩190分以上，但在中国大学获得的学士学位或者硕士学位除外；申请英文授课项目的非英语国家申请者要求提供托福或雅思成绩，英文为母语的申请者除外。

5. Candidates who apply for programs taught in Chinese shall provide a copy of their HSK certificate (within the 2-year validity period) or other equivalent Chinese proficiency certification. The applicant’s HSK4 score must be above 190, excepting those who acquired a bachelor's degree or master's degree obtained from a Chinese university; Non-native English-speaking applicants who apply for programs taught in English are required to provide TOEFL or IELTS scores.

注明：汉语语言水平不达标而其他条件满足者，需在校完成一年的汉语言学习，达标后方可进入专业学习，否则延长汉语言学习年限或责令退学。

（二）申请攻读自费硕士研究生按下列规定执行：

1. 申请人员须符合（一）中的第1、2、4各项要求。

2.具有3年以上工作经验，达到与大学本科毕业生同等学历的人员。

3. 自费硕士研究生可适当放宽授课专业所需的语言要求。

ii. Application for self-funded master’s students is implemented as follows:

1. Applicants must meet the requirements of 1, 2 and 4 of i.

2. Applicant has more than 3 years of working experience and has achieved a degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

3. Language requirements for self-funded postgraduates can be properly relaxed.

五、网上报名及材料寄送

V. On-line application and material delivery

（一）网上报名

i. Online Application

1.中国政府奖学金申请者在规定时间（2019年1月1日-4月1日）内在国家留学基金委网站（http://www.csc.edu.cn/Laihua/index.aspx）注册，并填写报名信息。网上申报结束后，须在2019年4月10日下午5点前，请将网申材料纸质一式一份邮寄到中国地质大学（武汉）国际教育学院招生办公室。纸质材料一经提交，不得修改网上报名信息或重新填报报名信息，一名学生只能保留一条有效报名信息，逾期不得再补报。

1. Applicants for the Chinese government scholarship need to register and fill out the form on the National Study Abroad Foundation website (http://www.csc.edu.cn/Laihua/index.aspx) within the prescribed time (from January 1, to April 10, 2019). After registering online, please send a printed copy of the online application documents to the Admissions Office of the International Education College in CUG before 5 PM on April 15, 2019. Once the printed documents are submitted, the online registration information cannot be modified or re-filled. One applicant shall retain one valid registration only. No further information may be submitted after the deadline.

学校奖学金及自费生申请，需在规定时间内（2019年1月1日-6月1日）在中国地质大学申请网站(http://admission.cug.edu.cn/member/login.do)注册申请，并填写报名信息，网上申请结束后，须在须在2019年6月5日下午5点前，请将网申材料纸质一式一份邮寄到中国地质大学（武汉）国际教育学院招生办公室。

2. Applications for school scholarships and self-funded studies should be registered on CUG’s registration website (http://admission.cug.edu.cn/member/login.do) within the prescribed period of time (from January 1, 2019 to June 1). Please mail the material copies to the Admissions Office of the International Education College in CUG before 5p.m. June 5, 2019 after finishing the online application.

1．《中国政府奖学金申请表》（中国政府奖学金生填写），《中国地质大学外国留学生入学申请表（学校奖学金或自费生填写），申请表格需用中文或英文填写

1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (only for government-funded students), Enrollment Application Form for International Students of CUG (only for school scholarship or self-funded students). Please fill out the form in English or Chinese.

2.经过公证的最高学历证明（若原文本为其他语言，需提供经公证的翻译件）

2. Notarized copy of applicant’s highest achieved diploma (If the original text is not in Chinese, a notarized translation should be provided).

3. 最高学历对应的学习成绩单（若原文本为其他语言，需提供经公证的翻译件）

3. Academic transcripts of the applicant’s highest diploma (If the original text is not in Chinese, a notarized translation should be provided).

4.结合前期学习基础，来华学习和研究计划（中文或英文，不少于800字）

4. Study plan or research proposal detailing how applicant will combine previous study experience with research in China. (in Chinese or English with a minimum of 800 words)

5.两名教授或副教授的亲笔推荐信（中文或英文），其中一封需来自毕业证书发放高校

5. Two handwritten recommendation letters in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors, at least one must be from the university where the applicant obtained his or her diploma.

6.半年有效期内的《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行留存）

6.Copies of the Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form valid in ahalf year (the original copy should be kept by the applicant). 

7.有效护照个人信息页复印件

7. A copy of the personal information page of the applicant’s valid passport.

8.HSK 等级证书或TOFEL/IELTS英语语言能力证书（语言能力优秀者优先考虑）

9. 《国际学生经济担保》经费担保人护照复印件及工作或收入证明（学校奖学金或自费申请者需提供）

9. The International Student Economic Guarantee Copy of the passport and work or income certificate of the guarantor (only for school scholarship or self-funded applicants)

10.其他附件材料（如导师接受意向表、获奖证书、发表论文专著等）

（二）资格审查

ii. Qualification Examination

申请期间，国际教育学院会同相关院系导师组将对中国政府奖学金申请者提交的学历信息和成绩单进行审核，申请者的专业基础、语言水平、学术能力、科研成果和导师意见将作为考核的重要指标，欢迎我校校际交流院校、知名专家推荐学生申请我校。

During the application period, the International Education College andthe candidates’ supervisory groups will check the academic information andreports of Chinese government scholarship applicants. The applicant's academic foundation, language proficiency, academic ability, scientific research and supervisors’ opinions will all be important indicators in our assessment. We warmly welcome student applicants who are recommended by experts or are from inter-school university exchange schemes.

请广大中国政府奖学金申请者在申请期间关注预留联系邮箱，以免延误信息。凡申请材料弄虚作假、材料提交不完备（或未经公证），以及材料提交时间延误者，将不具有参加中国地质大学（武汉）中国政府奖学金生筛选资格。

Applicants should pay close attention to e-mail to avoid any delay in communication during the application period. Any form of falsification, fraud, providing incomplete materials (including failure to notarized documents), or delayed materials will result in immediate disqualification of eligibility for the Chinese government scholarship of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

六、录取与通知

VI. Admission and notification

1．我校坚持择优录取的原则。但因名额所限，符合录取条件而不能获得中国政府奖学金资格的，在经本人同意情况下，我校可优先录取为自费硕士研究生。

i．CUG adheres to the principle of admitting the best candidates. Due to limited enrollment, applicants who meet admission requirements but fail to obtain the Chinese government scholarship can be preferentially admitted if the applicants agree to be admitted as self-funded master’s students.

2．凭本科预毕业证明或本科在读证明申请入学者，须在报到注册日前或当日向我校招生办出示或提交本科毕业证书，否则入学资格将被取消。

ii. Applicants with undergraduate pre-graduation certificates or studying certificates must submit their bachelor’s degree diplomas to the Admissions Office of CUG on or before registration day, otherwise the admission qualification will be revoked.

3对获得导师接受函，境外协议高校推荐或国内相关战略合作单位推荐的国际学生，在同等条件下优先获得奖学金资格。

iii. International students who have received an acceptance letter from their supervisor, a recommendation from an overseas partner university or domestic strategic cooperation unit can be preferentially awarded the scholarship equally.

4．中国政府奖学金申请者录取结果：5月底前，学校确定奖学金授予名单，报送中国国家留学基金委；CSC对学校录取结果进行审核后确定录取名单；7月底前，对被录取者发放《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW201表）。为便于录取通知书和签证材料的寄送，请务必预留正确邮寄地址信息。

iv. Results of the applicants applying for Chinese government scholarships: CUG will confirm the list of applicants and submit it to the Chinese National Scholarship Council before the end of May. The admission list submitted by the school will be confirmed by CSC; The Letter of Admission and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW201 form) will be sent to the applicants before the end of July. Please make sure that the correct mailing address is reserved to receive the Letter of Admission and the visa application form.

5. 学校奖学金及自费生录取结果：6月底-7月初公布录取名单，7月底前对录取者发放《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。为便于录取通知书和签证材料的寄送，请务必预留正确邮寄地址信息。

v. Admission results for school scholarships and self-funded students: the admission list will be published at the end of June or the beginning of July. The Admission notice and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW202 form) will be sent to the applicants before the end of July. Please make sure that the correct mailing address is reserved to receive the admission notice and the visa application form.

6.我校国际学生研究生招生信息及候选人名单查询、录取信息查询等均通过我校国际教育学院网站（http://iec.cug.edu.cn）发布，我校国际教育学院微信平台也可查询有关信息，请申请者注意经常登录网站查询有关信息。

vi. International students’ graduate enrollment information, the list of candidates for admission and admission information are all announced on the International Education College website (http://iec.cug.edu.cn). The CUG IEC official WeChat will also release the results, please keep following the updates of the IEC website and the IEC official WeChat account as well.
