中国地质大学是教育部直属全国重点大学，是国家“211工程”、国家“双一流”建设高校；中国地质大学（武汉）位于武汉东湖之畔，南望山麓。学校以地球科学为主要特色，拥有地质学、地质资源与地质工程2个“双一流”建设学科，学科涵盖理学、工学、文学、管理学、经济学、法学、教育学、艺术学、哲学等门类。建校以来，坚持弘扬“艰苦朴素，求真务实”校训精神，为国家培养了近30万名高级人才。学校全日制在校学生 26103人，包括本科生 18140人，硕士研究生 6312人，博士研究生1651人，国际学生944人(相关数据截至2018年10月)。

China University of Geosciences(CUG) is a key national university affiliated to the Ministry of Education. It is a member of the “Project 211” group and is a “Double First-Class” university project. Located along the shore of East Lake and seated at the foot of Mount Nan Wang, CUG offers world-class specialization in geosciences, featuring two “Double First-Class” disciplines: Geology ,Geological Resources and Geological Engineering. It has a multidisciplinary system centered on Natural Science, Engineering, Literature, Management, Economics, Law, Pedagogy, Art and Philosophy etc. Over 67 years, CUG has carried the motto of "be diligent and frugal, seek truth and be practical", nearly 300,000 talents have graduated from CUG. At present, its registered full-time students total 26103, including 18140 undergraduates, 6312 master students, 1651 doctoral students and 944 international students.(Data summarized on October, 2018 )

一、项目介绍

I. Program Introduction.

凡年龄在年满18-25岁，品行端正，身体健康，成绩优良，具备相当于中国普通高中毕业文凭，并持外国护照的非中国籍公民均可申请攻读中国地质大学（武汉）本科专业。

All non-Chinese citizens with valid passports between 18-25 years old who have high school diplomas or equivalent degrees, are of good character and conduct, and are physically and mentally healthy can apply for undergraduate degrees in China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

1. 报名时未满18周岁的申请人，须在2019年9月入学时提交相关证明文件；

2. 原为中国公民、后加入外国国籍者，需持有效外国护照4年（含）以上，且通过出入境管理机构国籍认定方可按照外国留学生身份报名。

i. Applicants under age 18 must submit relevant supporting documents upon arrival on campus by September 2019.

ii. Foreigners with foreign passports valid for at least 4 years who are originally Chinese must register as international students after identifying their nationality in the exit-entry Administrative Department.

二、学习形式及学制

II. Educational system

国际学生本科均实行全日制四年学制，采用中文教学（部分课程采用双语或英文教学）。学生在规定的在学年限之内，修满教学计划规定的学分，完成毕业论文并顺利通过答辩，颁发本科毕业证书，经学位审查合格者，授予学士学位。

International undergraduates will undertake a 4-year full-time academic program with courses taught in Chinese (some courses are taught bilingually or in English). Undergraduates will only be awarded graduation certificates and bachelor's degrees upon completing the amount of credits stipulated in their strategic plans within four years, as well as completing and passing the defense of their graduate thesis.

三、收费及奖学金

III. Tuition and Scholarships

（一）中国政府奖学金

i. Chinese Government Scholarship

中国地质大学（武汉）是教育部指定的中国政府奖学金生接受高校，具有接收中国政府奖学金生的资格。

China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) is designated by the Ministry of Education to grant qualified candidate students Chinese Government Scholarships.

1．丝绸之路奖学金项目：该项目仅招收“一带一路”沿线国家学生。根据国家下达专业指标筛选“一带一路”奖学金申请者，每年定向接收本科学士学位本科生。奖学金资助额度为全额奖学金，包含学费、生活补贴2500元/人月、校内住宿及综合医疗保险等。

1. Silk Road Scholarship Program: This scholarship program is available for students from the countries along the Belt and Road, as defined by the state. Applicants will be selected according to the disciplines quota issued by the state. The program is full scholarships with including tuition, a living allowance of 2500 RMB/month, on campus accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance.

2. 中约大学奖学金项目：该项目仅针对约旦籍学生，学生申请需通过中国地质大学（武汉）、中国驻约旦使馆、中国国家留学基金委三方批准。该项奖学金为全额奖学金（含学费、生活补贴2500元/人月、校内住宿及综合医疗保险)。申请者还需同时满足本简章中申请资格所列的要求。

2. Chinese-Jordanian university scholarship program: This program is only open to Jordanian students. Applicants’ scholarship qualifications must be approved by CUG, the Chinese embassy in Jordan, and the China Scholarship Council. The program provides full scholarships (including tuition, a living allowance of 2500 RMB/month, on campus accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance). Applicants must also meet the requirements listed in this brochure.

3. 国别双边奖学金项目：为协助优秀国际学生顺利获得学生所在国家的中国使馆或教育部门推荐的奖学金名额，我校国际学生招生办公室可根据学生申请情况，预先提供申请者《预录取通知书》。请需要《预录取通知书》的学生提前与国际学生招生办公室联系。国别双边奖学金项目申请办法、申请时间须咨询学生所在国中国大使馆或留学生派遣部门。

3. Bilateral Scholarship Programs: To help talented international students obtain scholarships from their Chinese embassies or on recommendation from the Department of Education. The CUG international admissions office may provide pre-admission notice based on the application progress of candidates.  Please contact the admissions office in advance. Applicants should consult with their local Chinese embassy or foreign student dispatch department for information about application procedures for the bilateral scholarship program and application times.

（二）中国地质大学（武汉）校长奖学金：中国地质大学（武汉）校长奖学金直接向中国地质大学国际学生招生办公室申请。申请者可在中国地质大学国际学生申请系统http://admission.cug.edu.cn/member/login.do中注册申请。优秀本科国际新生奖学金可获得第一学年奖学金资助，包括全额学费奖学金、半额学费奖学金和免住宿费奖学金。

ii. CUG Presidential Scholarship: Please apply directly for this program through the CUG international admissions office. Applicants can register and apply via the CUG international student application system (http://admission.cug.edu.cn/member/login.do.) The Program for outstanding international freshman undergraduates provides a first-year scholarship, including tuition -waiver, partial scholarship, and accommodation-waiver.

（三）学费标准

iii. Tuition Standards

本科生：理工科各专业学费为22000元/人.年；文科各专业18000元/人.年。

所有收费以物价部门最新批复为准，我校将及时公布有关收费信息。

Undergraduate students:  Science or engineering students: 22,000RMB/year

Liberal arts students: 18,000RMB/year

All charges are subject to the update by the pricing department. CUG will release information about changes in tuition in a timely manner.

四、报考条件

IV. Application Requirements

（一）申请攻读中国政府奖学金本科学士学位学生，须符合以下条件：

1．持有有效护照的非中华人民共和国公民。

2．遵守中国有关法律和学校的规章制度，品德良好，尊重中国人民风俗习惯。

3．申请者学业水平必须符合下列条件之一：

（1）最高学历毕业学校提供的官方成绩单（原件及中文或英文公证件）。

（2）国家/地区统一高中毕业考试成绩单。

（3）国际认证标准化测试成绩（如SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB等）。

i. The following conditions must be met to apply for a bachelor’s degree under the Chinese government scholarship program:

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports

2. Applicants must abide by the rules and regulations of Chinese laws and schools, be of good character and respect Chinese social customs and habits.

3. Applicants must meet one of the following academic conditions:

· An official transcript of the applicant’s highest educational degree (original copy and Chinese or English notarized copy)

· Graduation transcripts of national/district unified high school

· Scores of an internationally recognized standardized test (Such as the SAT/ACT/A-Level/ AP/IB, etc.)

4．身心健康，无严重疾病、传染病及严重身体缺陷，符合国家录取规定的体检要求。

4. Applicant is physically and mentally healthy, has no serious diseases, infectious diseases or serious physical defects. Applicant must pass the required national admission medical examination.

5. 申请中文授课项目要求提供HSK证书复印件(2年有效期内)或其他同等汉语水平证明材料，并要求HSK4级成绩190分以上，但母语为汉语或高中阶段使用汉语教学的申请者除外；中文水平不达标者，需到指定的高校参加为期1年的汉语补习课程，达标者方可到校学习专业。申请英文授课项目的非英语国家申请者要求提供托福和雅思成绩，英文为母语的申请者除外。

5. Candidates who apply for programs taught in Chinese shall provide a copy of their HSK  certificate (within the 2-year validity period) or other equivalent Chinese proficiency certification. The applicant’s HSK4 score must be above 190, excepting those whose mother tongue is Chinese or who attended high school courses taught in Chinese. Those whose HSK scores are below 190 must attend a one-year Chinese refresher course at a designated university prior to enrollment. Non-native English speaking applicants who apply for programs taught in English are required to provide TOEFL or IELTS scores.

（二）申请攻读自费本科学士学位学生按下列规定执行：

ii. Application for a self-funded undergraduate is enforced as follows:

1．申请人员须符合（一）中的第1、2、3、4各项要求。

1. Applicants must meet requirements 1 through 4 of i.

2. 自费本科生可适当放宽授课专业所需的语言要求，但中文授课专业仍需要通过HSK4级方可进入专业学位学习，未通过HSK4级的学生需在中国地质大学（武汉）参加为期一年的汉语预科补习，达标者方可进入专业学位学习。

2. Language requirements for self-funded postgraduates can be properly relaxed, but students applying for academic majors taught in Chinese must pass HSK 4. Those who fail the HSK 4 test must study one year of a Chinese preparatory course until able to pass the HSK 4.

五、网上报名及材料寄送

V. On-line application and material delivery

（一）网上报名

i. Online Application

1. 丝绸之路奖学金项目申请者在规定时间（2019年1月1日-4月1日）内在国家留学基金委网站（http://www.campuschina.org）注册，并填写报名信息。网上申报结束后，须在2019年4月10日下午5点前，请将网申材料纸质一式一份邮寄到中国地质大学（武汉）国际教育学院招生办公室。纸质材料一经提交，不得修改网上报名信息或重新填报报名信息，一名学生只能保留一条有效报名信息，逾期不得再补报。

1. Applicants for the Chinese government scholarship need to register and fill out the form on the National Study Abroad Foundation website (http://www.campuschina.org) within the prescribed time (from January 1, to April 1, 2019). After Online application, please send a printed copy of the online application documents to the Admissions Office of the International Education College in CUG before 5 PM on April 10, 2019. Once the printed documents are submitted, the online registration information cannot be modified or re-filled. One applicant shall retain one valid registration only. No further information may be submitted after the deadline.

2.中约大学奖学金申请者在规定时间（2019年1月1日-5月1日）内在国家留学基金委网站（http://www.campuschina.org）注册，并填写报名信息。学生在网站系统填写《中国政府奖学金申请表》时，需在“申请院校”一栏的第一志愿填写“中国地质大学（武汉）”，机构代码需填写中国驻约旦使馆代码（4002）。网上申报结束后，须在2019年5月10日下午5点前，请将网申材料纸质一式一份邮寄到中国地质大学（武汉）国际教育学院招生办公室。纸质材料一经提交，不得修改网上报名信息或重新填报报名信息，一名学生只能保留一条有效报名信息，逾期不得再补报。

1. Applicants for the Chinese-Jordanian university Scholarship Program must register and fill out the forms on the CSC website (http://www.campuschina.org) within the prescribed time (January 1 - May 1, 2019). Applicants should choose "China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)" on the Chinese government scholarship application form, the agency code for the Chinese embassy in Jordan is (4002). After registering online, please send a printed copy of the online application documents to the Admissions Office of the International Education College in CUG before 5 PM on May 10, 2019. Once the printed documents are submitted, the online registration information cannot be modified or re-filled. One applicant shall retain one valid registration only. No further information may be submitted after the deadline.

2.学校奖学金及自费生申请，需在规定时间内（2019年1月1日-6月1日）在中国地质大学申请网站http://admission.cug.edu.cn/member/login.do注册申请，并填写报名信息，网上申请结束后，须在须在2019年6月5日下午5点前，请将网申材料纸质一式一份邮寄到中国地质大学（武汉）国际教育学院招生办公室。

2. Applications for school scholarships and self-funded studies should be registered on CUG’s registration website (http://admission.cug.edu.cn/member/login.do) within the prescribed period of time (from January 1, 2019 to June 1). Please mail the material copies to the Admissions Office of the International Education College in CUG before 5 p.m. June 5, 2019 after finishing the online application.

1．《中国政府奖学金申请表》（中国政府奖学金生填写）；《中国地质大学外国留学生入学申请表（学校奖学金或自费生填写），申请表格需用中文或英文填写

1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (only for government-funded students), Enrollment Application Form for International Students of CUG (only for school scholarship or self-funded students). Please fill out the form in English or Chinese.

2. 最高学历毕业证书或预毕业证明（原件及中文/英文公证件）：

2. Copy of applicant’s highest level diploma or pre-graduation certificate. (The original copy and a notarized English or Chinese copy.)

a) 应届高中毕业生由本人所在学校出具预期毕业证明；

b) 已毕业高中生提交高中毕业证书；

c) 在读大学生除提供高中毕业证书外，还需提供所在大学的在读证明；

· Recent high school graduates must provide pre-graduation certificates issued by their own school.

· High school graduates must provide their high school diplomas;

· Registered university students must provide both a high school diploma and a studying certificate from their university;

3. 最高学历对应的官方成绩单 （若原文本为其他语言，需提供经公证的翻译件）

3. Official academic transcripts of the applicant’s highest diploma (If the original text is not in Chinese, a notarized translation should be provided).

4. 个人简历（中文或英文）

5. 两名教师的亲笔推荐信 （中文或英文），其中一封来自毕业高中

5. Two recommendation letters from different teachers in Chinese or English. At least one must be from the high school where the applicant obtained his or her diploma.

6. 半年有效期内的《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行留存）

6. Copies of the Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form valid in half year (the original copy should be kept by the applicant).

7. 有效护照个人信息页复印件，如在中国，请同时提供签证页和入境章页

7. A copy of personal information page of the applicant’s valid passport. Please provide the copy of the visa page and the entry page if the applicant is in China.

8. HSK 等级证书或TOFEL/IELTS英语语言能力证书（语言能力优秀者优先考虑）

8. HSK certificates or English language proficiency certificate TOFEL/ IELTS. (Applicants with good language proficiency are preferred)

9. 《国际学生经济担保》经费担保人护照复印件及工作或收入证明 （学校奖学金或自费申请者需提供）

9. The International Student Economic Guarantee Copy of the passport and work or income certificate of the guarantor (only for school scholarship or self-funded applicants)

10. 其他辅助证明材料（如获奖证书等）

（二）资格审查

ii. Qualification Examination

申请期间，国际教育学院会同相关院系导师组将对中国政府奖学金申请者提交的学历信息和成绩单进行审核，申请者的学习成绩、语言水平、高中阶段综合表现将作为考核的重要指标，欢迎我校校级交流院校、知名专家推荐学生申请我校。

During the application period, the International Education College and the candidates’ supervisory groups will check the academic information and reports of Chinese government scholarship applicants. The applicant's academic records, language proficiency, and general performance record will be important indicators of our assessment. We warmly welcome student applicants who are recommended by experts or are from inter-school university exchange schemes.

对于申请材料缺失人员，国际教育学院招生办公室将在逐一通过留存的邮件信息提醒补交，请广大申请者在申请期间关注预留联系邮箱，以免延误信息。凡申请材料弄虚作假、材料提交不完备（或未经公证），以及材料提交时间延误者，将视为自动放弃录取资格。

Those who are missing required application materials will be reminded by the Admissions Office of the International Education College via e-mail. Applicants should pay close attention to e-mail to avoid any delay in communication during the application period. Any form of falsification, fraud, providing incomplete materials (including failure to notarize documents), or delayed materials will result in immediate disqualification of eligibility for the Chinese government scholarship of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

六、录取与通知

VI. Admission and notification

1．我校坚持择优录取的原则。但因名额所限，符合录取条件而不能获得中国政府奖学金的申请者，经本人同意情况下，我校可优先录取为自费本科生。

i．CUG adheres to the principle of admitting the best candidates. Due to limited enrollment, applicants who meet admission requirements but fail to obtain the Chinese government scholarship can be preferentially admitted if the applicants agree to be admitted as self-funded undergraduate students.

2．凭高中预毕业证明或本科在读证明申请入学者，须在报到注册日前或当日向我校招生办出示或提交高中毕业文凭，否则入学资格将被取消。

ii. Applicants with high school pre-graduation certificates or studying certificates must submit high school diplomas to the Admissions Office of CUG on or before the registration day, otherwise the admission qualification will be revoked.

3．对境外协议学校推荐或国内相关战略合作单位推荐的国际学生，在同等条件下优先获得奖学金资格。

iii. International students who have received a recommendation from an overseas partner school or domestic strategic cooperation unit can be preferentially awarded the scholarship equally.

4．中约大学奖学金录取结果：获得录取资格的申请者，7月底前，我校将发放《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW201 表）。为便于录取通知书和签证材料的寄送，请务必预留正确邮寄地址信息。

iv. Results of applicants for Chinese-Jordanian university scholarships: CUG will confirm the list of applicants before the end of July; The Letter of Admission and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW201 form) will be sent to the applicants before the end of July. Please make sure that the correct mailing address is reserved to receive the Letter of Admission and the visa application form.

5.  学校奖学金及自费生录取结果：6月15日前公布录取名单，7月初前对录取者发放《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。为便于录取通知书和签证材料的寄送，请务必预留正确邮寄地址信息。

v. Admission results for school scholarships and self-funded students: the admission list will be published before July 15th. The Letter of Admission and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW201 form) will be sent to the applicants before the start of July. Please make sure that the correct mailing address is reserved to receive the admission notice and the visa application form.

6. 我校国际学生本科生招生信息及候选人名单查询、录取信息查询等均通过我校国际教育学院网站（http://iec.cug.edu.cn）发布，我校国际教育学院微信平台也可查询有关信息，请申请者注意经常登录网站查询有关信息。

vi. International students’ graduate enrollment information, the list of candidates for admission and admission information are all announced on the International Education College website (http://iec.cug.edu.cn). The CUG IEC official WeChat will also release the results, please keep following the updates of the IEC website and also the IEC official WeChat.
