Note:
1. MostDegree Programs will be taught in Chinese, so the students are required to take one-year remedial Chinese language course and pass the examinations prior to the major study if their Chinese language level is not qualified. If students take one-year Chinese language course, the duration of the scholarship will be extended for one year.
2. Some Degree Programs can be taught in English according to the major’s study schedule.Applicants with sufficient knowledge of English for academic purposes are preferred, which can be proved by the certificates such as TOEFL, GRE, IELTS or other officially recognized language certificate.
3. Duration for scholarship specified at the time of admission can NOT be extended in principle.

Scholarship Types
To encourage and support outstanding international students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in China university of Geosciences (Wuhan), China University Geosciences (Wuhan) (CUG) has established a CUG International Freshman Scholarship for all international students who intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree in CUG.

1. Program duration: The programlasts 4 years arerequired to complete all courses, obtain the designed number of credits and successfully finish their thesis;
2. Medium of Language: Chinese (only communication engineering can be taught in English);

Applicants should complete the online application and send the application documents to the designated address before June 15, 2018 (accepted by postmark). Please mark “self-funded application material” on the envelope.
Application Procedures
1.Register and submit online application athttp://admission.cug.edu.cn/
2.Upload all the required documents, download and print out the application form after completing online application.
3.Send the required application documents to the university.
4. Wait for the Admission Notice and Visa Application Form.
Note:
1. All the documents should be bound together on top left corner in the order of 1 to 7. No application documents will be returned.
2. All the documents should be in Chinese or English. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be translated and notarized.
