Chinese Government Scholarship: Chinese-African Friendship General Scholar Program

Introduction

Chinese Government Scholarship- Chinese-African Friendship General Scholar Program is a full scholarship established by Ministry of Education to support Chinese universities to attract outstanding international students from African Countries for six months general studies in China. China University of Geosciences, Wuhan is one of the prestigious universities designated to undertake this program to recruit students.

Scholarship Coverage and Criteria

1. Tuition waiver;

2. Free on campus accommodation

3 .Living allowance: (3000RMB/per month);

4. Comprehensive medical insurance.

Eligibility

Citizen of African Country and in good health

Under the age of 45 and have a high school diploma (or higher)

Application Procedure

1. Submit online application at CSC Online Application System: http://www.campuschina.org/ Choose Type B. The agency code for China University of Geosciences, Wuhan is 10491. Choose the applying category “General Scholar”

2. Upload the required documents on the CSC online system:

1) Notarized highest diploma (photocopy, notarized in Chinese or English);

2) Academic transcripts; (notarized in Chinese or English)

3) A Study Plan or Research Proposal with a minimum of 400 words (in Chinese or English)

4) Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy);

5) Valid passport photocopy

6) Other documents（if available, eg. language proficiency, publishing papers and etc )

Deadline

Students need to finish the online application on CSC system by 20 December, 2019
